Material & care
Waschen: Bis max. 30°C mit ähnlichen Farben
Waschmittel: Ein umweltschonendes Colorwaschmittel mit guter Waschwirkung & Farberhaltung, kein Vollwaschmittel
Bleichen: Kein Bleichen, da der Stoff beschädigt werden kann
Trocknen: Lufttrocknen auf der Wäscheleine
Bügeln: Bei niedriger Hitze bügeln
Mischungen aus Baumwolle und Polyester, auch Polycotton genannt, sind vielseitig einsetzbar und werden für die Herstellung von Bettwäsche bis hin zu Kleidung verwendet. Da Polyester im Gegensatz zu Baumwolle nicht schrumpft oder sich verformt, ist die Mischung, was Waschen und Trocknen angeht, einfach zu handhaben. Dank der Baumwollkomponente in der Mischung sind Bekleidungsstücke aus Baumwolle und Polyester atmungsaktiver als Produkte aus reinem Polyester.
Polycotton kann unterschiedliche Anteile an Baumwolle und Polyester aufweisen. Deshalb hängen die Eigenschaften des Stoffs von der Verteilung beider Stoffe ab. Produkte mit einem hohen Baumwollanteil sind in der Regel teurer als jene, die viel Polyester enthalten.
Dank des Polyesteranteils ist dieser Stoff aber sehr pflegeleicht. Er ist knitterarm und trocknet schnell, was ihn ideal für Kleidung macht. Dank der Kombination von synthetischen und natürlichen Stoffen ist Polycotton außerdem robust. Das bedeutet, dass Kleidung aus diesem Material besonders langlebig ist.
Achte beim Waschen darauf, dass Du Deine Teile aus Polycotton in einen Waschbeutel packst, der Mikroplastik abfängt, so schonst Du nicht nur Deine Kleidung vor Reibung in der Waschmaschine, sondern auch die Umwelt, da so kein Mikroplastik ins Abwasser gerät.

How are our prices made up?
This breakdown is based on our figures from 2023 and we want to show you transparently why sustainable clothing has its price.
You're probably wondering why the plus size items cost a little more than our other products. Unfortunately, we had to make them a little more expensive because they cost significantly more to produce. The fabric consumption for the product itself is just one aspect of this. There is also a much higher amount of waste. This occurs when cutting the patterns to size and is significantly greater than the production of XS-XXL products from a single piece of fabric. The subsequent processing steps, including ironing, also require more effort. Our production costs are currently around 25% higher. We are currently working closely with our local producers to optimize these processes and are trying to reduce waste as a first step. The large sizes are a new but exciting challenge for both us and our producers.

How can it be that the individual packaging takes longer to decompose than the product itself? This is why we have already opted for biodegradable plastic in recent years. But that didn't go far enough for us! That's why your items now arrive unpackaged and tied up as an "unpackaged pack" in a shipping bag or cardboard box made from recycled paper.
